Worship

Worship Service, Sundays, 9:00 am:

We are a progressive congregation which uses a projector and screen.

We have an excellant Choir and encourage all ages to be a apart of the music ministry. We blend traditional and comtemporary music together.

We unite as a community of believers each Sunday to take of the Lord's Supper.

We encourage members of the congregation to participate in the Worship Service. We invite members of the congregation to be worship leaders,

the elders, deacons, greeters, video technican, audio technican, candle lighters, etc.

Education

Sunday School Classes, Sundays, 10:30 am:

Kindergarten through Fifth Grade

Junior High & High School (grades 6-12)

Disciples Bible Class (adult)

Potter's Wheel Class (adult)

Wednesday Bible Study (Began in March of 2003 with the plan of going through the Bible)

Afternoon - 1:30 p.m.

Evening - 7:30 p.m.

Music

First Christian Church has an adult choir. The adult choir praises the Lord during the weekly Sunday morning worship service. The choir has a break during the summer months, but picks back up in the fall.

Men's Ministries

Men's work at First Christian Church is an important facet of our church's life. We meet for fellowship and work to make First Christian Church a better place. Our goal is to be an active part of our church's life. All men are welcome to be a part of Christian Men's Fellowship.

Women's Ministries

Christian Women's Fellowship is one of the longest running programs in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). It is an active and vital part of the ministry at First Christian Church. This fellowship group is designed for all women of the church. The CWF has long been the group to which the church turn in its hour of need. Christian Women's Fellowship is always ready to lend a hand and will continue to serve the church through tried and true projects.

The Women's Prayer and Support Group meets on Saturday mornings at 8:00 a.m. This is a great time for women share in fellowship with each other and with the Lord.

Youth Ministries

First Christian Church has opportunities for youth of all ages. There is a High School Youth Group that meets periodically during the month for fellowship, fun, food, and an inspirational message. There are also various camps for youth during the summer. For camp information please contact the church.

Ecumenical Ministries

We have a wonderful Ecumenical Ministry with Faith Lutheran Church, First Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, and Saint Edmund Catholic Church.
